HOFFMAN MERLOT  1895-394 (PURPLE) BALI HANDPAINTS 100% Cotton, 44/45 inch wide. Avg. bolt 15 yards. Mottled style. Hand-dyed in Bali.

Coloration:  warm toned deep reddish-purple often described as plum or dark magenta 

Dark bluish-purple base with warm plum washes, mottle hand-dyed with hints of fuchsia. 
A "blender" works well with neutrals or other jewel tones such as Cabernet, Amethyst, Garnet, Lilac. 

Mottle Hand-dyed great with slight variations, used for quilting and sewing projects.
